Rachael Van Schoick, BS, LMT, PCES

Prenatal & Postpartum Specialist | Osteopathic Manual Therapist | Birth Doula

Rachael Van Schoick is the founder of Align Movement and a prenatal and postpartum specialist providing hands-on care for women during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond. With a background in exercise science, dance, and advanced osteopathic-based training, her work focuses on restoring balance to the body by addressing the spine, pelvis, fascia, breathing mechanics, and organ mobility as an integrated system.

Rachael specializes in supporting pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and individuals recovering from C-sections who are experiencing pain, core and pelvic balancing, postural changes, or difficulty returning to movement. Her approach blends precise manual therapy, including scar and abdominal tissue work, with corrective movement and education to support efficient healing and long-term resilience.

Unlike traditional rehabilitative or fitness models that isolate one area of the body, Rachael works from a whole-body perspective informed by osteopathic principles. This allows her to identify underlying contributors to symptoms such as back pain, leaking, core disconnection, and restricted mobility that often persist despite conventional care.

Her clinical work is informed not only by extensive training but also by personal experience through pregnancy, vaginal birth, and C-section recovery. Rachael is passionate about helping women feel confident, supported, and at home in their bodies by providing individualized care that respects the complexity of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.
