Cassandra Martinez, LPC
With over 11 years of experience supporting individuals from early childhood through young adulthood (ages 2–25), I specialize in helping families navigate the complexities of Neurodiversity, behavioral challenges, and life stressors. I have experience as a previous school counselor , working closely with schools and I have worked in Alaska for a variety of my time as a therapist. My work is rooted in the belief that every client is the expert on their own life, and my mission is to provide the specialized support they need to move from just "getting by" to thriving. I show up as a real person—passionate, direct, and non-judgmental. My practice is deeply humanistic, meaning I prioritize the relationship between us and ensure that therapy is always about you and your family's unique goals. To help my clients reach their goals, I integrate evidence-based strategies tailored to their specific needs. My toolkit includes:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma focused
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) & Distress Tolerance
- Mindfulness Techniques
- Dir floortime model
- Play therapy
- Family therapy
Whether we are working on emotional regulation in a young child or helping a young adult navigate the pressures of independence, I bring a passionate commitment to every session. I am here to listen, support, and help you find your balance.
