Anna Pedersen, LAC

Anna is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University Irvine. Anna’s previous experience as a neurotherapist allowed her to integrate talk therapy with QEEG testing, neurofeedback, and biofeedback. Through this work, she developed a deeper understanding of brainwave patterns and nervous system functioning within the context of each client’s psychological history, stressors, lifestyle, and overall health. This experience strengthened her holistic perspective and deepened her appreciation for the connection between the brain, body, and emotional well-being.

Anna’s therapeutic approach is gentle, holistic, and person-centered, drawing from both cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapies. She strives to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout their healing process. She also incorporates psychoeducation into sessions to help clients better understand their symptoms, nervous system responses, thought patterns, and overall mental health, allowing them to feel more informed and connected to their healing journey.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a certified yoga instructor and enjoys practicing yoga as part of her own wellness and mindfulness routine.
